Bomb Shelter Dedication
Ashkelon, Israel - June 23, 2009
Donations from the Night to Honor Israel were realized on June 23, 2009 as 4 bomb shelters were dedicated in the city of Ashkelon. Each of the large shelters from Operation LifeShield holds 50 people and were placed outside of two schools. Now instead of sheltering beneath desks, students will be able to step outside of their classrooms and into bomb shelters.

NIGHT TO HONOR ISRAEL
Sunday, March 15, 2009
The NIGHT TO HONOR ISRAEL pro-Israel rally held Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Without Walls Central in Lakeland proved to be an extremely rewarding and worthwhile event for the some 3,500 Christians and Jews who attended. Over $104,000 was collected that night for the benefit of OPERATION LIFE SHIELD, who builds bomb shelters in Israel. Pastor John Hagee, Keynote Speaker, along with Host Pastors Scott and Cindy Thomas, and Consul General Ofer Bavly were overwhelmed at the response.
The evening opened with the local Marine Corps Color Guard presenting colors while Greg Garay of Without Walls Central sang the National Anthem. Following was Temple Emmanuel of Lakeland's Cantor Victor Geigner singing the Israeli National Anthem. Jay Saltzman, also of Temple Emmanuel, gave the official start as he blew the shofar. The Without Walls Central Choir and Youth Dance Team presented powerful musical and dramatic pieces to add to the night's variety.
Ofer Bavly, Israel's Consul General of the Miami Consulate office, delivered a powerful message and charge to the audience, followed by a dynamic and passionate speech from Pastor Scott Thomas, which received numerous standing ovations. The highlight of the evening was Keynote Speaker Pastor John Hagee, who urged everyone to stand strong and show unprecedented support for Israel and the Jewish people.
Jack Ross, Herb Swarzman, Mark Yafee and Gary Gould of the Tampa Bay Jewish Federation were all present and in support of the evening. Government representatives present for the evening were Howard Wiggs, Lakeland City Commissioner and Randy Wilkinson, Polk County Commission.

SPECIAL AWARD TO PASTORS SCOTT & CINDY
Lifetime Achievement Award
On Tuesday, April 1st, The Jewish National Fund honored Pastors Scott and Cindy Thomas at their Tree of Life Award Dinner in Tampa, Florida. They presented them with the LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD for their consistent and perpetual stand for the state of Israel as well as their countless efforts and work propagated on behalf of Israel and the Jewish community, specifically, within the past three years. It is unprecedented that this particular award be given to someone outside the Jewish community. They are also among the youngest to ever receive this award.
Over 1,000 well-established business people from the Tampa Bay area and Jewish community were present for this landmark occasion, and because Pastor Scott is a well polished orator, he was asked to give his acceptance LIVE during the event. Pastor Scott gave an inspiring, motivational, and spiritual acceptance, evidenced by 2 standing ovations from the audience. He also gave proper recognition to CUFI for their ongoing support of Israel and the Jewish people. Ultimately, Pastors Scott and Cindy Thomas gave all the glory to God-Jehovah for His greatness! |

ISRAEL shall stand FOREVER
Phenomenal Success
Without Walls Central’s 2nd annual ISRAEL shall stand FOREVER event was another phenomenal success. Ofer Bavly, Israeli Consul General – Miami, Rabbi Dr. Gerald Meister, Advisor in Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Israel, along with Scott Thomas, Senior Pastor of Without Walls Central all delivered powerful and inspirational words to those in attendance.
The sole purpose of these events is to join hands and hearts together for the nation of Israel, setting aside religious differences and finding common ground for the sake of unity and strength in a time of world-changing events that directly impact Israel. Israel Bonds and Without Walls Central sponsored the entire evening.
That night, we collected a special offering, and together with Without Walls Central, we submitted a $10,000 check to Christians United for Israel (CUFI) to benefit the newly established College Development program for education and training in guiding a pro-Israel stance on the campuses.
